Write and format rich text with bold, italics, underline, headings, bullet and numbered lists, alignment, fonts, sizes and colours on a real page layout, then import or export DOCX, plain text or HTML. Everything runs locally on your device, with no upload or sign-up.

How it works
The editor is a full application compiled to run in your browser. When you open it, your browser downloads the editor and its processing core once, caches them, and from then on every operation — opening files, editing, exporting — happens on your own device. Nothing you work on is uploaded, which is also why there are no accounts, queues or file-size pricing tiers.

Is the document editor free?+
Yes — free, with no account, sign-up, watermark or usage limits.
Are my documents uploaded to a server?+
No. All formatting and editing happen locally in your browser; nothing you write leaves your device.
Can it open Word (.docx) files?+
Yes. It opens .docx and .odt locally and keeps paragraphs, headings, bold/italic/underline, colours and lists. Tables and footnotes are skipped with a status note. Legacy .doc is not supported — save as .docx first. You can export .docx, plain text or HTML.
Can it do tables, links or footnotes?+
Not yet. The editor covers rich text — headings, lists, alignment, fonts, sizes and colours — on a paginated page. Tables, hyperlinks and footnotes are not supported.
